Just Another Day

Killings in Israel and Palestine may be off the headlines - at least in the West -, but make no mistake, they continue on the ground.

Yesterday ten Palestinians were killed by the Israeli military (8 in Gaza, 1 in Ramallah, and 1 near Hebron), and two Israelis where killed by Palestinians (both near Hebron.)

To be fair (to the West) these deaths are mostly out of mind for Israelis too. They occurred in the territories. Far from Tel-Aviv, and far from consciousness. Another country. Not our problem.

But somewhere relatives are weeping. And bitterness is growing.
